Whilst I
already had a Carlsbro 50 Top on the site (the one rescued from a skip! Please
see here: http://www.chambonino.com/routework/routewk21.html)
It was however a little sparse. Note the non-original pointer knobs on this one.
(These were normally coloured “smartie” knobs.) I replaced these for the
customer accordingly.
All back in
place. Note the added extra 60uf @ 500 volts main HT cap. This stiffens these
amps up really well……as-in most Fenders too! Also included is a bias pre-set
pot (normally a fixed value resistor on this model).
I think this
power transformer really has reached it’s “sell by date”!
