SERVICING TWO CARLSBRO 200 WATT / 7 CHANNEL PA MIXER AMPLIFIERS
AMPLIFIER 1:
As in the previous article on the Carlsbro 100/7 PA amp, this one too came in two versions. Both
are the same really, but this is the later of the two and is the shorter (in height) and
with a brushed-aluminium front panel.
And yes.....they all had the original GEC KT88's along with Partridge transformers!
AMPLIFIER 2:
And now the earlier
version: 40mm taller and with a polished aluminium front panel.
Not the neatest amps in the world but.....hell....they don't half kick-ass!
There's not really that much more I can tell you about these, other
than if you get your hands on one of them, you won't be disappointed! They always do the 200 watts and more........absolutely great amps!
