SERVICING OF A
CARLSBRO 60 PA Mk I AMPLIFIER
This is the
first Carlsbro four channel PA amp with a common tone circuit…..non-reverb
model.
The faulty
bias circuit and associated components all replaced.
Prior to the
replacement of all the said tired and duff bias components.
This photo is
actually of the reverb version….hence the five small controls rather than just
four. As there were some knobs missing and some wrong….I replaced the whole set
with nice looking retro ones! (Please note, at the time, I was out of stock of
the smaller matching ones….hence not shown on this photo).
A good few
new components replaced.
As-in most
cases of this kind of design, the main board has to be removed to allow access
to the soldering underneath.
