CARLSBRO 50 TOP AMPLIFIER HEAD
Hello everybody.
A lot of amps come through the workshop for fairly normal general servicing and other small adjustments, faults, or modifications. Whilst I always try to include on the website as many different brands and models of the various brands for your interest, I have decided to sometimes include a few different models into one article. This Carlsbro article is another prime example! As always, if a particular amp has an interesting story, then of course I would still tell that as a separate article.
I see
a few Carlsbro amps and I’m
sure more will pass through the workshop in time. They are really good
amps! I
have included four here; once again all fairly basic work. I have
however
explained any interesting points on the captions of the individual
photos.
Carlsbro gear
was manufactured in
Mansfield, only about 15 miles from my native Nottingham so,
consequently, I
had a fair bit to do with them in the “good old
days”.
On the following four articles I have used “mixed photos” from the same models of the four types as I have serviced more than one of each of the said same models.
