SEVEN GIBSON AMPLIFIERS
Hello
folks. Well, here are seven Gibson amps to add to the web-site. They
are a BR-6, a BR-9, an Explorer, a Les Paul Junior, a Falcon, a
Varitone, and an Invader.
As with
most Gibson amps they tend to be pretty good and reliable....even when
very old! This is a good testament to their quality. Apart
from mainly a few dried and tired capacitors, all the main resistors
are generally OK. The only time this falls down is when some
incompetent repairer has had their hands on one and for no apparent
reason has bodged here, there, and everywhere! Just check-out
the Invader.....that one certainly falls into this category!
