Most people with tired Linear’s don’t want to bother about a full
re-furbish….full strip-down/re-spray etc. They are usually quite happy just to have them back to life…….no problem….Job done!
Speaker jack previously fitted…..makes sense on these instead of those silly little banana sockets!
Side-mounted input jacks, again previously replaced instead of the co-axial sockets that were fitted as original.
You wouldn’t be allowed to have loosely riveted fuse holders & everything exposed to electrical shock if this was designed nowadays!
A damn good few components changed on this one!
