Not really an awful lot to
say about this one. Just a good basic service and check-over for any
duff components etc. Notice on this particular chassis that the
components are mainly across a tag (group) board. One thing I
wasn’t happy with though was the main HT smoothing resistor
having one leg soldered to the rectifier base and the other just
hanging there, swinging in mid-air! I ended up securing this correctly
on a new tag I fitted.
This one didn’t really need a vast amount doing to it.
Finished and all back in the case.
You can’t beat these lovely old amps…..wonderful stuff!
