Here we go again….another abortion! Just look at the state of this wiring and the soldering!!
Yes…….definitely…….another bloody mess!!
Apart
from the power transformers’ crap wiring; it was duff anyway!
So….off it came, and a complete strip-out of all the junk wiring
followed.
Now…doesn’t this just look so nice now…..all finished.
What a lovely job of the re-wind….though I say it myself!
And I
think I can say the same for the re-wiring too. Amazingly enough, some
of the de-coupling caps were actually fine and not leaking at
all…..very unusual!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t say the same for some of the pre-amp caps.
Both units completely finished and ready to make some good sounds!
Not
the original speaker of course, but I was told by the amp's owner that
she sounds stunning……That’s good-enough for me!
