1969 JENNINGS AC40 TWIN COMBO AMPLIFIER

I believe the story here is that Tom Jennings had left Vox and started his own
company…Jennings Amplifiers. Apparently Dick Denny was asked to do some work for his
old boss Tom, and this AC40 was the result of this, designed by Dick.

Celestion 12" Alnico drivers again, this time with a bronze/gold chassis and silver magnet covers.

Quite possibly two incorrect knobs here.

Still based on the layout and shape of the AC30 but with the EL84 output tubes spaced further apart. I have
never, as-yet (April 2009) had one of these on the workbench. It will be interesting to see if it does actually make the 40
watts? I have my reservations!
