And yet another Vox amp owned and photographed by Jerry.
Now, this one has a very interesting story about it…as told to me by Jerry. Apparently it was found in a cupboard by a workman, in a London building that was being
demolished. The workman put it next to a skip ready to be taken away. However,
another worker on the site spotted it and, as his son played guitar, he knew what it was and so consequently took it home. At this point, and finding the unit not to be
working, he and his son took it to a local music shop and part-exchanged it for some
modern equipment. A friend of Jerry's ended up buying this and then sold it on to Jerry
himself.....cool stuff!
That has to be Jerry's thumb at the bottom left corner of the photo……….fame at last Jerry!!
